Abercrombie & Kent supports the Whale Museum

The American travel agency Abercrombie & Kent presented the Whale Museum today with a grant from its charity fund in the amount of 7.000 dollars or almost 1 million ISK. This is the fourth year in a row that the travel agency has chosen to sponsor the museum. Last year, the grant was used for the construction of the cast iron frame at the museum, and this year the grant will be used for continued work on the cast iron exhibit. At the presentation of the grant at the Whale Museum today, around 170 guests attended by the travel agency. The guests arrived in Húsavík on the cruise ship Le Boreal. The Whale Museum thanks Abercrobie & Kent for the support and goodwill shown to the museum.
