New employee announcement

The Whale Museum is pleased to announce that Halldór Jón Gíslason has been hired on a fixed-term appointment time limited of one year. He will assume the position of project manager. Halldór is born and raised in Husavik and moved back home last year from Reykjavik, where he studied and worked. Halldór has a BA degree in history, post-graduate diploma in didactics and a MS degree in human resource management, all from the University of Iceland. The museum staff and board welcome Halldór to the museum.
