The Whale School 2016 – First Visits

The Whale School, our annual educational program, collaborated with the local schools, started today with a visit from Grænuvellir Kindergarten students. Húsavík’s children visit the Whale School at least three times over a period of five years, where they gradually add new information about the whales and their habitation to their knowledge.

As usual, the young visitors are our most enthusiastic ones, asking questions as well as spreading their own knowledge to the museum’s staff.
