Film festival at Hvalasafn

Next August 18 and 19, the film festival Ocean Films Húsavík will be celebrated in the Whale Museum. The festival, which is a joint project of the Whale Museum and the marine conservation organization Whale Wise, was first held in 2021, and the main theme of the festival is specially selected films that focus on the ocean and its ecosystem. On both exhibition days, films will be shown from 19-23 and the building opens at 18:45. This time, the photos of the festival will also be common on the Internet from August 18th to September 1st. Ocean Films Húsavík 2023

Ocean Films Húsavík is scheduled to occur at the Húsavík Whale Museum during the evenings of August 18th and 19th (from 7 to 11 pm Iceland time). With limited seating, doors will open at 6:45 pm. This film festival, which had its inaugural edition in 2021, presents a collection of ocean-themed films from across the world.
