Abercrombie & Kent supports the collection

The whale museum in Húsavík has now, for the third year in a row, accepted a generous gift from the welfare fund of the American travel agency Abercrombie & Kent for the continued support of the reef project. This year, close to 200 people came on behalf of the organization to attend the presentation of the grant, which amounts to 14,320 dollars or about two million ISK at the current exchange rate. The Whale Museum thanks the association for the support and goodwill shown to the museum.

Here, Mayor Kristján Þór Magnússon accepts the grant on behalf of the Whale Museum. With him in the picture are representatives of the fund.
