Who will be guest number 25.000?

Now that the high season is behind us and the number of visitors has started to decrease with the cooling weather, we look forward to welcoming 25 thousandths the guest this year, now in October. Since the museum opened in 1997, the number of visitors to the museum has been maintained for each year, and by the beginning of September, 24.500 visitors had visited the museum, compared to about 20.700 visitors for the whole of last year. Visitor number 25.000 will therefore be a guest of honor and receive a gift from the museum. We are eagerly waiting and count the guests like never before.

We would like to remind you that two documentaries are being shown in the hall of the Whale Museum: Sperm Whales: Titans of the Deep; which deals with sperm whales in the North Sea, research and the impact of oil exploration on the population and Giants of the Deep; which tells the story of humpback whales and their journey from Tonga to Northern Alaska.
