Museum weekend in Þingeyjarsýslúm – Film screenings in the Whale Museum

Museum Forum, a collaboration forum between museums and other organizations that work on museums, exhibitions, centers and other communication of nature, culture and history in Þingeyjarsýslá, is holding its annual museum night this weekend. This year, the program runs from Thursday to Sunday and is designed to give people the opportunity to attend more than one event, museum or exhibition.

The whale museum offers visitors and pedestrians free entry to the museum from 12 – 17 on Sunday and offers a children's movie in the museum hall at 13 pm and a family movie at 15. We encourage Þingeyingians and local residents to take advantage of the program of the museum weekend and visit the museums and exhibitions.
The aim of the Collections Forum is to promote strong and ambitious work in cultural communication in Þingeyjarsýslam.
