US Ambassador Robert C. Barber visited the Whale Museum this week. Barber met with the staff of the Whale Museum and met the students of the High School in Húsavík who participated in the New Bedford collaborative project that took place earlier in the year. In addition, a joint meeting was held in the Whale Museum with the ambassador and the managers of the whale watching companies in Húsavík. Barber was very enthusiastic about the activities of the companies and the meeting was useful for all participants.
