The last few days have been lively at the Whale Museum and many visitors have visited us. Ásrún Ásmundsdóttir and Belén Garcia Ovide have been on duty at the Whale Museum's front desk this summer together with Ástthór Hannessyn and have done a creditable job. This summer the whale museum has played the role of an information center and many tourists stop by to ask about everything possible related to tourism opportunities in Húsavík and the surrounding area. Ásrún is very used to the work at the museum and has worked at the Whale Museum for four summers and is also in charge of the souvenir sales, but the activity there has increased considerably this summer.
