Húsavík Whale Museum is seeking an artist to create exhibition in the museum’s art space for next season 2020-21.
The exhibition´s theme must be related to whales or their habitat in some way.
Work on setting up the exhibition is expected in January/February 2020.
Applications and requests can be sent to eva@whalemuseum.is with subject title Art 2020.
Application must include description of exhibition and artwork and budget plan.
Deadline for applications is at midnight 20th October 2019.
About current exhibition:
“Ocean & the whales” by Renata Ortega.
The exhibition consists of watercolor and acrylic paintings of whales living in the Atlantic and arctic oceans. The exhibition will be open until mid-December 2019.
